About Me

Andrea Owens: Hi! My name is Andrea Owens. I am a wife and mother of four. I believe life is about creating JOY. Creating a home where we my family wants to be is my highest priority. Creating delicious and healthy foods for my family is central to making my home a joyful place. My first experience abroad was an exchange student to Finland during high school. More experiences of Eurorailing, studying and living in Europe created a foundation, love and appreciation of the arts, architecture, people, cultures, restaurants and bakeries around Europe. I graduated from the University of Utah in fine arts and slipped in a study abroad at Cambridge University, Cambridge England. My husband recently took a job in Washington DC. We quickly joined a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)Farm that was nearby. This farm produce forms the basis of our meals. I also love dining at amazing restaurants and always come home inspired to create something new. Before the days of Pintrest I started "pinning" all of my friends, mothers and grandmother's best recipes as well as my own. I am so excited to share them with my girlfriends everywhere!
