Best Easy Chili

Best Easy Chili
This is the best and easiest chili ever.  Grandma Carroll makes it often in the fall and winter seasons for all the grandchildren and their parents who love it and request it often!  I have friends who like to soak and cook dried beans for their chili, which would be great if you have the time.  However, for most of us time is always of the essence and this method and recipe is definitely is my favorite.  Serve the chili with Soft Breadsticks, right out of the oven and warm everyone up on a ‘chilly’ night!

2 lbs. ground beef or ground sirloin
1 large onion, chopped
28 ounces diced tomatoes with liquid
8 ounces tomato sauce
15 ounces chili beans with liquid
15 ounces black beans, drained
15 ounces white beans, drained
15 ounces kidney beans, drained
23 ounces V-8 juice or tomato juice
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
2-3 squirts Worcestershire sauce

In large pot brown hamburger AND onion with some salt and pepper.  Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Serve with corn bread or bread sticks.
